it's absolutely amazing how often people poke their fingers through fences at hyenas!! needless to say this usually results in digit amputation:)
I wonder if we do stupid things like this unthinkingly with animals which remind us of cats or dogs? I've often seen hideous home-video clips of people being torn at by the big cats through their cage fencing...Caroline
